I'm Dr. Greg Poindexter, the lead pediatric dentist here, and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to partner with you on your child’s dental health journey. A Journey Through Education

My path to pediatric dentistry began in an unexpected place - Crockett Technical High School in Detroit, Michigan. Faced with the requirement to choose a trade, I opted for dental assisting, sparking what would become a lifelong passion for dentistry. That early experience opened my eyes to the joys and challenges of dental care, leading me to become a dentist. I further honed my skills and knowledge by completing my dental training at Meharry Medical College, where I deepened my commitment to providing exceptional dental care.


Committed to staying at the forefront of pediatric dentistry, I complete 20 hours of continuing education yearly, covering various aspects of the field and regularly attending the AAPD (American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry) conference. This dedication ensures that I bring the most current and compassionate care to our young patients.

Professional Affiliations and Community Involvement

I am a member of the AAPD and NDA (National Dental Association). These affiliations allow me to stay connected with fellow professionals, share knowledge, and continually improve my practice.


My commitment extends beyond the office walls; I'm deeply involved in the UPFEED (United People For Economic and Educational Development), a group dedicated to positively impacting Houston and its surrounding communities. Through UPFEED, we strive to make a difference in the lives of our local families, providing support where it's most needed.

Life Outside the Office

When I'm not in the office, I cherish my time spent traveling, indulging in my passion for cooking (I'm quite the chef, if I may say so), and enriching my mind with self-improvement books. Family is the center of my world, and together, we enjoy movie nights, exploring new places, and engaging in sports.
